This years event consists of 3 runs of differing distances. We have 10K and 6K trail runs for adults and older children, and a 2K fun run for the younger ones. Please see the minimum age requirements below

The majority of the route is off-road routes with varied terrain - and great news the bridge is back open so we will revert back to the original routes this year!

Finishers will receive a high quality sustainable medal

Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd placed man and woman in both races

10K will set off at 10:30am with 6K shortly afterwards

2K race (by age group) will start at 12:30pm

No dogs allowed on the Recreation ground or on the route

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

10K: 14+ years (no exception)

6K: 11+ years (children aged 8 to 10 can run but an adult must run with them)

2K: 4-14 years (an accompanying adult can run with the child for a small fee but medals will only be issued to the child)

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Some parking will be available on the Recreation Ground but you are encouraged to walk to the event / car share where possible

Will there be a bag drop?

A bag drop facility will be available but we encourage you to leave anything valuable at home

Can I get food at the event?

Cakes, refreshments and a BBQ will be available this year. All proceeds from the sales will go to Friends of Old Basing Schools. Please bring cash
